    Description

    Universal Precision Technology is a well-established organization that specializes in the manufacturing of precision components and sub-assemblies for the aerospace, aircraft, military, medical, optical and defense sectors.

    We are looking to increase our diverse and dynamic team with the addition of skilled individuals.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Set-up and operate multiple CNC Machines
    Utilize and comply with all AS9100 REV D and ISO 9001:2008 manufacturing and quality standards
    Verify dimensions of parts and tools using precision measuring instruments
    Abide with instructions, regulations and safety policies
    Keep machines and surrounding area clean while maintaining a safe work environment
    Other duties may be assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION
    Minimum 2 years demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC's Mills or Lathes
    Ability to read and interpret drawings
    Excellent knowledge of tooling and the ability to interpret results from CMM
    Effectively communicate information with managers and other employees
    Motivated to learn and able to work independently with minimal supervision
    Willingness to cross train on other types of machinery is an asset
    Esprit Programming knowledge is an asset


    ADDITONAL REQUIREMENT
    Basic security clearance
    Own Steel-toe safety shoes
