Description

Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with the coordination of shipping department daily activities, procedures and employee training

Assist Warehouse Supervisor in feedback dialogue process for department personnel
Arrange customer orders to be processed by shipping department employees ensuring all customer requirements are fulfilled and transportation deadlines are respected.
Work closely with customer service department to ensure customer requests are fulfilled.
Monitor open orders and back orders ensuring any available orders are processed in a timely manner.
Ensure all OEM customers shipping and packaging requirements are fulfilled according to guidelines including timely processing of ASN's.
Assist Shipping Admin as required, with shipping documentation, labels, customs paperwork and bill of ladings
Monitor shipping schedule on daily basis, ensure all shipments are picked on time
Coordinate with accounting department for customer orders on credit hold.
Coordinate with receiving and warehouse employees to ensure product availability for shipping orders
Assist with picking and packaging as required.
Close communication with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction.
Contribute to department and company improvement projects as required.
Participate in cycle count activities and yearly physical inventories
Empower, guide and assist Shipping personnel in their job duties, maintain the appropriate training level for Shipping Team.
Comply with Eberspaecher's environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards. Report any issues not in compliance to supervisor or department manager.
Conduct and promote work in a safe and responsible manner and report any safety concerns immediately to the supervisor, department manager or a member of the Environmental Health & Safety Committee. Wear appropriate PPE and operate electric or manual material handling equipment in a safe manner in accordance with standards and procedures.
Participate in companysponsored training relating to shipping, safety and quality, and any other mandated education and training.
Maintain work area and physical plant in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
Uphold Eberspaecher's environmental and quality policies to limit the impact on its operations on the environment and prevent pollution through technological innovation and process efficiency by participating fully in Eberspaecher's environmental and recycling programs as required on a daily basis.
