- Collaborate with the Assurance team to carry out audits and reviews.
- Support on larger audit projects and tax tasks.
- Manage payroll and related government filings, sales recording, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, and payroll transactions.
- Handle Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) returns, financial statements, and personal and corporate tax filings.
- Prepare Financial Statements.
- Compile personal and corporate tax reports.
- Conduct bookkeeping for clients.
- Assist with financial planning documentation.
- Background in accounting.
- At least 3 years of experience in public accounting.
- CPA designation or pursuing it is required.
- Strong time management skills and self-motivation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in CaseWare, Profile/TaxPrep, MS Office, and QuickBooks.
