Workplace Development Services (WDS) is a branch within the Real Property Division (RPD) which provides expert advisory services in project delivery, oversight, building technology advisory services, and strategic facilities planning.

WDS helps Clients translate their program requirements into building solutions.

Our objective is to provide support for the BC Government by providing property asset support through the delivery and/or oversight of repairs, upgrades, renovations, and new construction.


The Project Coordinator provides project administrative support for a variety of construction projects ranging from $50k to over $2 million.

The Project Coordinator works directly with Directors, Development Managers, Oversight Project Officers, Project Administration staff, contractors, consultants and other team members to coordinate and/or support all aspects of the planning, schedule, management and the successful delivery of construction projects.

You are able to work effectively in a team environment, while also independently managing projects and tasks.

You are a skilled analytical thinker, an effective communicator, have excellent time management techniques, and thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.


Job Requirements:


  • Postsecondary education or training in the area of project/construction management, or equivalent.
  • Postsecondary education or training in accounting, financial management and contract administration, or directly related experience.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience providing project/contract management and coordination services for assigned projects.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with procurement experience

About this Position:

Two (2) regular, full time positions are available.
