    About this opportunity:

    Cenovus is looking for a Senior Production Control Advisor to join their team. Reporting to the Manager, Production Control, this role will support the service transition team (including document reviews) during release management and new service introductions. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing periodic and ad hoc IS management reports.

    What you'll do:

    • Monitor and handle the Performance Analytics Dashboards and its related Jobs.
    • Monitor and lead the Reporting Functionality in ServiceNow.
    • Process Management Accountabilities across Service Operations and Service Transition Processes (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge management, Continual Service Improvement, Service Level Management, Capacity Management, Availability Management, IT Asset management, Service Asset and Configuration Management etc.)
    • Own and drive the Monthly ITSM Health Check data collection, presentation and assist the team in planning and execution of the meeting.
    • Responsible to complete the following:
      • Executive Summary after every Major Incident
      • Weekly communication for the Health and Safety newsletter
      • Monthly communication about ITSM activities and Automation to all IS Users
      • Monthly communication for Shared Services activities.

    Who you are:

    • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
    • Completion of post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field.
    • Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in the Service Management Domain.
    • Certifications such as Information Technology Library (ITIL) Foundations, ITIL V4 Specialist an asset.
    • Lean Sigma, ServiceNow Platform, and other Infrastructure Domains Certifications.
    • Skilled negotiator, relationship builder, active listener.
    • Outstanding communication abilities and presentation skills.
    • High level of integrity and ethics, respected by others.
    • Works well under pressure with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
    • Critical/forward thinker, agile and comfortable with change.
    • Exercises sound knowledge and good judgment.
    • Accountable, diligent, effectively handles the details.
    • Strong work ethic and drives for results.
    • Encourages and develops a culture of innovation, learning and questioning approach.
