We are currently seeking a gracious and welcoming individual to join our team as a Hostess/Host, playing a vital role in creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for our valued guests.

As a Hostess/Host at Alice Restaurant and Bar, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience by providing a warm and inviting welcome.

Your attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and excellent organizational skills will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our patrons.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and genuine welcome.
Manage the reservation system, including taking reservations, recording guest preferences, and managing seating arrangements.
Communicate effectively with guests to provide accurate wait times and updates.
Maintain the appearance of the host/hostess station and waiting area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a courteous and professional manner.
Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service.
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and any concerns with a positive attitude.
Maintain a professional and composed demeanor during highpressure situations.
Uphold a strong knowledge of the menu and daily specials to provide accurate information to guests.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a hostess/host or in customer service is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
Proficiency in reservation management systems is a plus.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
