Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented _Body Shop Painter _to join the Winnipeg Body Shop Department.Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, the _Body Shop Painter _will provide timely and quality repair, painting, and servicing of heavy-duty truck components.
The Role:
- Disassemble, reassemble, and prepare heavy trucks for painting
- Mask and tape truck body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Mix, blend, and match paint colours
- Refinish chassis of heavy trucks
- Follow safe work procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years work experience in the automotive painter trade is required
- Completion of a high school or college automotive painting program is considered an asset
- Previous experience with Imron 5000 and 6000 paint systems is required
- I-Car Points are considered an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge and comprehensive understanding of equipment, materials, and paint techniques
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Keen attention to detail; highly skilled in masking and colour matching
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently and safely
- Must be comfortable working on ladders, man lifts, and platforms

$24.45-$37.62 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
