    About the Role:

    As the Sales Director / Estimator, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading the sales team, and providing accurate estimates for roofing projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of roofing systems, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Leadership:

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and exceed sales goals.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.

    Estimation:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of roofing projects to determine material requirements, labor costs, and project timelines.
    • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates using industry-standard software and pricing guidelines.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

    Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base and market presence.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

    Client Relations:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
    • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on roofing solutions tailored to their needs and preferences.

    Foster long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication and exemplary customer service.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to support sales initiatives and achieve business objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with project managers and installation teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and expectations.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
    • Proven track record of success in sales leadership and estimation within the roofing industry or any related field.
    • Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, installation techniques, and industry regulations.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with a focus on driving results and fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • Proficiency in estimation software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
