Position Summary:


Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, the Total Rewards Co-op Student will be a strong centralized resource to assist with key 2024 HR projects and deliverables, including process optimization and employee experience initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Participate in a Human Resources process mapping and process optimization project to create and catalogue documentation for HR processes related to the full employee lifecycle (hire to retire).
  • Prepare HR documentation, including standard operating procedures, plans, programs, reports and catalogues.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of a variety of employee experiences, including wellness events, employee recognition initiatives and program communications, in partnership with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with special projects, initiatives and ad hoc requests as they arise.

Qualifications:


  • Co-Op Student enrolled in Human Resources, Business or a similar program.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work with crossfunctional teams to gather information and solve problems.
  • Passionate about the industry and looking to further their experience and skills in Human Resources Management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Critical thinker and a team player.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret various data sets.
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

High Liner Foods is Remote Friendly We offer a Flexible Hybrid Work Model where corporate office employees have the flexibility to choose a minimum of two office days per week, with the option to work wherever they prefer (office or remote) for the remainder of the week.
