    Staff Software Engineer | Smart Contracts
    Full-time
    Berachain is a high-performance, EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible, Layer 1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK.

    As a Smart Contracts Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts and decentralized applications on the Berachain blockchain


    Smart Contract Development:
    Design, implement, and deploy smart contracts on the blockchain using Solidity


    DApp Development:
    Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate smart contracts into decentralized applications


    Technical Expertise:
    Stay updated with the latest advancements in Solidity, Ethereum and blockchain technologies


    Code Quality:
    Implement thorough testing methodologies to identify and address vulnerabilities and bugs.
    Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard smart contracts and applications against potential threats and attacks


    Monitoring and Alerts:
    Implement in-house solution or integrate 3rd party solution to monitor the health of protocol smart contracts


    Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross-functional teams including other engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure the successful integration of smart contracts into our ecosystem.

    Analyze technical challenges and provide innovative solutions. Collaborate with the team to address issues and ensure proper configuration and maintenance of deployed smart contracts.
    Demonstrable experience in designing and developing smart contracts using Solidity. Awareness of how transactions, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized networks function.
    Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and security best practices in blockchain and smart contract development.
    Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field


    Experience:
    3+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on Solidity and blockchain technology.
