FedTec is looking for a mobile developer position to fulfill the mobileapplication development project needs for USPS client
Position:
Mobile DeveloperWork Location:
RemoteClient: USPSPrimary Responsibilities Motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, organization, andtroubleshooting skills.
Ability to meet with senior employees and representatives tobrainstorm, discuss ideas related to application design, project plan,coding, testing and release of the application.
Ability to diagnose and improve UX/UI and fix bugs.API development, tools, and best practicesApplication SecurityPerformance tuningDevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions DevelopmentFramework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab) Knowledge/experience using Agile MethodologiesKnowledge/experience of SDLC practicesChange Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow,etc.)Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)Database experience for mobile, web, and server development using CloudFirestore, Firebase or similar.
Experience developing in Cloud PlatformsExperience deploying to apps stores and knowledge of Developer ProgramPolicies for Google Play for Android and Apple's App Store foriOS.Basic Qualifications 2+ years experience developing mobile applications for iOS, Android, orWindows within an Agile product delivery team2+ years proven experience in coding using programming languages such asJava, Swift, Kotlin, and Objective-C.
Work Schedule:
8 am to 5 pm ETAdditional ProvisionsPass both, a client-mandated clearance process to include drugscreening, criminal history check and credit check.
Once a candidate's resume is approved and the interview passed,the agency is responsible, for providing drug screening. Failure to submitthe drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.An offer, contingent upon successful USPS Public Trust clearance, willbe extended to the candidate.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation ofemployment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States withinthe last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not includemilitary family members.)All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager orhis/her designated representative.
