    Description
    SIGA is a family-owned, Swiss-based manufacturer of high-performance tapes and membranes for energy efficient building envelopes. Our mission is to promote energy efficient construction and to sell our solutions in North America. In this key position, you are responsible for the technical support of our customers and our SIGA sales teams. Furthermore, you will be actively involved in the development of new products and technical communication documents.

    Assess new applications for SIGA products in line with local code requirements.
    On-site testing of SIGA product prototypes
    Provide technical support to our SIGA sales teams and customers.
    Create and maintain technical documentation such as installation guidelines, 3-Part Specifications, technical drawings, etc.
    Create and hold technical trainings for our SIGA sales team.
    Analyze building codes and market barriers; 5+ years experience in the construction industry with extensive understanding of building physics, construction processes, building envelop and air sealing practices. Bachelors degree in construction engineering, wood engineering, architecture or construction management or applicable field experience
    ~ You are proficient in English, and you have excellent writing skills to generate easy to understand technical content.
    ~ Passive House and high-performance building envelope knowledge and experience is a plus.
    ~ Solid analytical and decision-making skills, self-motivation, assertiveness.

    Salay Range $75,000 - $85,000 CAD

    SIGA est une entreprise familiale suisse fabricant de rubans et de membranes haute performance pour les enveloppes de batiments economes en energie. Notre mission est de promouvoir la construction econome en energie et de vendre nos solutions en Amerique du Nord. Dans ce poste cle, vous etes responsable du support technique de nos clients et de nos equipes commerciales SIGA. Vous veillez a ce que la gamme de produits SIGA et les recommandations d'application soient alignees sur les exigences du marche et les besoins des clients. De plus, vous participerez activement au developpement de nouveaux produits et de documents de communication technique.

    Evaluer les nouvelles applications des produits SIGA conformement aux exigences des codes locaux.
    Tests sur site des prototypes de produits SIGA
    Assurer le support technique a nos equipes commerciales SIGA et a nos clients.
    Creer et maintenir a jour la documentation technique telle que les directives d'installation, les specifications en 3 parties, les dessins techniques, etc.
    Creer et animer des formations techniques pour notre equipe commerciale SIGA.
    Analyser les codes du batiment et les barrieres du marche; Se rendre sur les chantiers de construction pour examiner les progres et les applications des produits.

    Baccalaureat en genie de la construction, genie du bois, architecture ou gestion de la construction ou experience de terrain pertinente
    Vous maitrisez l'anglais et possedez d'excellentes competences redactionnelles pour generer un contenu technique facile a comprendre.
    La connaissance et l'experience de la maison passive et de l'enveloppe du batiment a haute performance sont un plus.
