    Description
    Our client is an innovative industry leading company that provides engineering services to the electric and telecom utility industry.
    Act as project technical lead reviewing the work of others, training, mentoring and performing quality control functions.


    • Confer with project managers and other team leads in the development of work plans, cost estimates, assign duties and responsibilities.
    • Review design work and provide feedback as required to others within the team.
    • Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
    • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project quality and efficiency to best meet schedule and budget
    • Develop, review and revise quality documents, procedures and processes to be followed by yourself and others.
    • Work with Quality Management lead to ensure company practices follow ZE Quality Management and EGBC guidelines.
    • Prepare reports for management, client, or others
    • Attend and assist in field visits in relation the work being completed for the particular project
    Minimum of 3 years experience designing overhead power distribution pole line assets in a power utility environment.


    • Familiarity with project reporting, quantitative tools and the project life-cycle.
    • Class 5 drivers license
    experience in reviewing the design work of others


    • experience using pole line analysis design software tools such as Spida-calc an asset.
    • Post Secondary diploma or degree from a recognized electrical technology or engineering institution.
    • experience working with BC Hydro design systems an asset. #
