    The Role:
    As Events and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing systems for administration, finance, and operations for the virtual organization. You will also provide support for Nourish in-person events, such as workshops, retreats, and the national Symposium. Additionally, you will assist the core team with program support.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Operations:
      • Manage financial tasks such as invoices, expense claims, and payments.
      • Assist with health expense claims and important meetings.
      • Support Co-Executive Directors with scheduling and key meetings.
      • Prepare documents for the Board of Directors.
      • Aid the team with funder reporting and fundraising.
      • Provide technical support for webinars and manage engagement in CRM.
      • Perform other administrative tasks as required.
    • Event Management:
      • Handle logistics for team retreats and the national Symposium.
      • Support webinars and virtual events with logistical coordination.
    • Core Nourish Team Role:
      • Engage with program participants, advisors, funders, and partners.
      • Conduct research, develop resources, and contribute to various materials.
      • Provide leadership through facilitation, logistical, and administrative activities.
      • Contribute to operational improvements and strategic learning.
      • Engage in DEI learning programs and integrate social justice values into all activities.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • Proven experience as an Events/Operations Manager or similar.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Understanding of current food and health system issues.
    • Proficiency in project management and non-profit operations.
    • Experience in managing events from start to finish.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and virtual platforms.
    • Ability to work remotely and willingness to travel occasionally.
