    Description

    Seeking a Layout Designer responsible for the layout of RF and mixed signal integrated circuit components from schematics, diagrams or netlists utilizing commercial/standard bulk CMOS and SOI technologies in accordance with design rule.

    Responsible for taking the physical design from schematic through physical verification and tape-out in a timely manner with minimal assistance.

    As a skilled specialist in IC layout, candidate must have the ability to complete tasks in creative and effective ways, and work on assignments requiring considerable judgement and initiative.

    Layout of RF and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) components from schematics, diagrams or netlists utilizing SOI, CMOS, RF CMOS and GaAs technologies in accordance with design rules.


    • Directly interfacing with the IC design engineers to produce and optimize layouts for size and performance.
    • Establish and meet project objectives and milestones.

    Must possess skills in the utilization of CAD tools, specifically Cadence Virtuoso 6.A solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing is required.


    • Ability to work within schedule constraints and maintain high quality standards.
    • Proficiency in Custom Analog, RF & Digital layout skills and be able to work at the cell, block and chip level.
    • Demonstratesolid knowledge of device matching issues and good analog/RF layout techniques.

    The typical base pay range for this role is currently CAD
    $Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
