_ How you will contribute:
_
- Research and analyzing the data from the government, business sectors in relations to the business potentials.
- Gathering data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.
- Research and analyzing consumer preferences to determine the potential sales of a product or service.
- Conducting research on specific market conditions.
- Analyzing prices, methods of marketing, and distribution.
- Devising and evaluating methods for data collection.
- Using statistical software to analyze and interpret data.
- Simplifying complex data into a userfriendly format, such as graphs, charts, and other visual aids.
- Preparing and presenting reports to clients and management.
- Assisting in the development of sales and marketing plans.
- Assisting and supporting the other administrative and operation issues.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
_ What you bring to the table:_
- Bachelor's or associate degree in economics, finance, statistics, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in market research analysis within the hospitality, travel and tourism, food and beverage, club membership, or events and meetings industry
- Strong understanding of Canadian and Ontario culture, lifestyle, demographic, and consumer behaviors.
- Experience in applied research or data management may be advantageous.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and data modeling skills.
- Ability to manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports.
- Excellent problemsolving, communication, and teamworking skills.
- Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
