  • The Agile Transformation Coach (ATC) plays a critical role in transforming and sustaining an environment of Business Agility, Customer Centricity and Continuous Improvement
  • ATC is a discipline expert in Agile Practices with a proven record of accomplishments, resulting in a culture of selforganized high performing teams, each demonstrating progressive maturity with Agile practices.
  • This role will be responsible for collaborating with Agile teams (at both the team and program level), stakeholders, leaders and managers to improve performance and outcomes in support of Sun Life's business plans and goals.
  • ATC will provide coaching, training, mentoring, performance assessments, impediment management, and leadership to facilitate collaboration, development consistency, and value delivery across multiple teams and departments.

  • Assist with the process in standing up new Agile teams, providing coaching and consulting to these teams to support their development and ongoing improvement to become selforganizing, selfmanaging and highly functional.
  • Provide coaching, training, mentoring, performance assessments, impediment management, and leadership to facilitate collaboration, development consistency, and value delivery across multiple teams and departments.
  • Supporting the development of the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and the team by coaching on Agile processes including:
  • Role clarity, responsibilities, and delivery expectations.
  • Scrum processes and ceremonies.
  • Challenge of old norms in both business and IT processes for continuous improvement with working with OKRs, tools and processes.
  • Promotion of DevOps technical practices.
  • Coordinate with other teams, facilitate preparation for scaling across teams to support larger features and capabilities.
  • Provide the educational support to the organization on Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and practices or any additional Agile techniques to increase the Companywide execution, innovation, and overall maturity
  • Perform 1:1 mentoring and coaching to Team Coaches for purposes of development, support or remediation across all levels of the organization
  • Hold a support role within the Digital Transformation team to help remove impediments and facilitate an environment of continuous improvement and adoption of agile/scrum practices
  • Proactively analyze and make recommendations for improvements to existing Agile organizational practices and patterns at the team level. Share best practices and insights across the organization to remove impediments to the implementation of Agile

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)
- +2 years of proven experience with coaching Agile delivery.

  • Discipline expert in Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban and SAFe).
  • An effective communicator at all levels, in both structured and nonhierarchical, informal structures.
  • Direct experience and previous accountability for delivery outcomes using Agile practices.
  • Commitment to grow as an Agile Coach through continually improving your own skills and approaches.
  • Agile methodology training, certification preferred.

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:

Southern region:
$134,000 - $201,000 annually


Central region:
$141,400 - $212,
