- Oversee daily warehouse production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate workflow and manage production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure materials are available as needed.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse associates, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide training and guidance on safety procedures and best practices.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet company standards.
- Address and resolve any production issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and quality metrics.
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies to optimize production workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets for production operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse or production management
- Proven track record of managing a high-performing production team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree/diploma in business, operations management, supply chain management or related field preferred
- Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft office products
- Experience with SAP is an asset
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication, adaptive personality, influencer, strong negotiation skills, marketing and social media savvy.
