    Job Title: Production Manager

    Location: Toronto, ON

    Shift: Day Shift

    Our client is a rapidly growing Bakery Company dedicated to producing high-quality baked goods.

    Job Description:

    Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager with experience in the bakery industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the bakery industry and a proven track record of supervising production operations. As a Production Manager, you will oversee a team of production staff, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
    • Lead and mentor a team of 20 to 30 production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
    • Implement and monitor production schedules to meet company goals and customer demands.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in the production process.
    • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any issues.
    • Utilize computer systems to manage production data, generate reports, and track performance metrics.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
    • Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain management to ensure the availability of raw materials.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in the bakery industry.
    • Strong hands-on experience in supervising production operations.
    • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
    • Driven, eager to learn, and committed to continuous improvement.
