Job Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

Create and update course materials including syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments focused on business communication within various organizational contexts.


Teaching and Instruction:

Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, and exams, providing constructive feedback and grading assessments promptly.

Mentorship and Support:
Offer guidance, advice, and academic support to students, helping them navigate challenges and improve their communication abilities.

Industry Relevance:

Keep abreast of industry trends, changes in communication technologies, and evolving business practices, integrating this knowledge into course content.


Collaboration and Networking:

Collaborate with other instructors and departments to ensure alignment with broader educational goals, and network with professionals to bring real-world insights into the classroom.


Qualifications:

Education:
Typically requires a Master's degree in Communication, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in communication or teaching are advantageous.

Teaching Experience:
Prior experience in teaching, training, or instructing in business communication or related fields is preferred.

Subject Matter Expertise:
Strong knowledge of business communication principles, including written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills, across various business contexts.

Technological Proficiency:
Familiarity with digital communication tools, multimedia resources, and educational technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to students.

Interpersonal Skills:
The capability to engage with students, provide constructive feedback, and support their learning journey.
