Responsibilities:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support and coordinate a wide range of CSWB projects and initiatives Conduct research and analysis including jurisdictional and best practice scans on community policing issues Provide analysis to support evidence based recommendations and policy direction Prepare background documents and briefing notes for projects and assignments Support data management and analysis from internal and external sources Assist with the governmental procurement process for grants that support the needs of priority populations Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications:


QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a degree/diploma in Criminology, Psychology, Behavioural Science or related field of study Ability to conduct research including environmental scans, best practice reviews and literature analysis Ability to coordinate and support multiple projects and initiatives An awareness and sensitivity towards those experiencing mental health crises, crime prevention and keeping our roads safe Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills Effective written, oral communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
