About this Position


The role is responsible for contributing to AIL's culture by exhibiting collaboration, curiosity, resilience, leadership and accountability in a manner which supports AIL's employee wellness, environmental sustainability, and profitability.


Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations/Sustainability Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting Manufacturing needs across the organization, while also supporting achievement of our sustainability targets.


Responsibilities

  • Manage daily and weekly operations reporting and data processes
  • Supporting AIL's sustainability program, including reporting
  • Facilitating reviews, meetings and presentations
  • Be actively involved and support the daytoday activities of the operations team
  • Support quality and data auditing processes
  • Provides assistance with project deliverables to ensure budget and timelines are met
  • Tracks, reports on, and analyze departmental and sustainability KOI's
  • Lead AIL's advancement to achieving the AIL Group's sustainability objectives. Emphasis is on AIL's net zero targets but will also include other sustainability initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support net zero interactions with internal staff and external parties to implement projects which are ontime, onbudget, and yield the intended sustainability impact. Periodic travel is expected.
  • Lead KPI, SOP and data analytics for net zero aspects. Track, monitor, analyze and report on net zero KPI's, net zero project status, financial aspects, and net zero impact.
  • Lead AIL Group's external sustainability reporting.
  • Create, administer, and deliver sustainability related organizational training to employees.
  • Responsible for increasing internal awareness and engagement of AIL's net zero initiatives.
  • Administer AIL Group's Net Zero education and training program. Train staff as required on net zero initiatives.
  • Work with industry and government to integrate their knowledge into the AIL Group and offset costs through funding programs.
  • Coordinate, lead and maintain AIL Group environmental certifications, including the auditing process as applicable.
  • Any other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and achieve results through collaboration with others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization, planning and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to identify and facilitate closure of root causes.
  • Able to analyze data.

Salary:
$64,700.00-$70,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:


  • Project management: 3 years (preferred)
