Role Summary

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across business units to evaluate processes, gather requirements, document constraints, and deliver recommendations to stakeholders
  • Conduct design, prototype, and feedback sessions to identify efficiency and productivity improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with the Core Applications Development Manager to convert business requirements into business and technical specifications
  • Play a pivotal role in the future of our organization by actively contributing to the design, planning, and strategic execution of our upcoming closebased ERP implementation
  • Actively participate in designing, developing, configuring, testing, and documenting ERP system improvements
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvements to increase system stability, performance, and customer experience
  • Participate in the quality assurance process of system enhancements and new feature releases
  • Provide ongoing support for business systems, including troubleshooting issues, managing system configurations, and addressing user inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or financial management
  • 5+ years of experience in participating in ERP feature enhancements or ERP development
  • 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following ERPs: Sage 300, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft D365 for finance and operations or SAP for retail
  • Participation in ERP implementations is considered an asset
  • Handson experience in development methodologies such as agile and waterfall
  • Strong understanding of operational business processes, including MRP, purchasing, inventory control, production, logistics, and financial management
  • Proven track record of effective problemsolving skills with an ability to deal with the unknown
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a proactive and selfstarting approach to tasks, with a strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to optimize productivity
  • Adaptable, enthusiastic, and positive working attitude
