Job Summary:
We seek a
highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our MCM Acoustical team.

The Project Coordinator will
support the successful execution of acoustical projects by coordinating activities, resources, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

This role requires
excellent communication, multitasking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to create comprehensive plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Obtain and use latest architectural drawings for shop drawings.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and personnel. Generate shop drawings or coordinate with draftsperson.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, specifications, and change orders.
  • Communication: Act as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, facilitating effective communication throughout project lifecycle.
  • Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, track milestones, and address delays promptly.
  • Quality Control: Monitor project progress to ensure work meets quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, taking proactive steps to minimize their impact.
  • Reporting: Generate progress reports, update project managers on key indicators, and track budget. Review project schedule with senior management and staff.
  • Change Management: Inform estimator of necessary change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes.
  • Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field (preferred).
  • With
    experience as a project coordinator or similar role
    , ideally within the

construction or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
