- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to confirm order status, expedite delivery, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely availability of materials.
- Collaborate with inventory control to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Identify and address potential issues that could impact production timelines, including supply chain disruptions and quality control problems.
- Develop and implement solutions to mitigate delays and ensure continuous production flow.
- Maintain accurate records of order statuses, communication with suppliers, and any adjustments made to delivery schedules.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production progress, material availability, and potential risks to management.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement innovative expediting strategies.
- Proven experience as an Expeditor or in a similar role within a Oil & Gas / Supply Chain Environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, procurement, and logistics.
