Cedarwood Village in Simcoe ON is seeking a fun-loving
Program Assistant that is dedicated, energetic and above all passionate about helping our residents with activities of daily living.


This is a FULL-TIME position

  • 8am to 4pm with one 128pm shift each week on Thursdays
  • Plus every third weekend 8am to 4pm

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Starting rate of pay is
    $21.58 per hour then moves to
    $22.52 after 3 months

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Must have Food Handler's Certificate
  • Preference will be given to individuals who have previous Long Term Care experience
  • Experience in Dementia care and Montessori Programs an asset
  • RAI/MDS
  • Must have a sincere interest in people, the elderly in particular, and possess a genuine sensitivity to their needs
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Good Standing Driving Record to be easily insured

Cedarwood Village is one half of a continuum of care facility that also houses independent seniors. Together this community is called Cedarwood Village Retirement Apartments and Skilled Nursing Centre.

Family owned and operated, Cedarwood Village is licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as a Long Term Care Home designed to promote a home-like environment.
