Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity to grow the Fraud Technology family in the Fraud Detection domain. We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the Protect Platform organization, working primarily on Fraudsponsored projects with a focus on the US detection transformation within fraud. The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working with, and liaising with, business partners and external vendors to define and refine user stories for new detection and data capabilities and assist with the transition from one externally hosted vendor to another, utilizing new, enterprise grade technology for integration.
Define, document and translate high level user stories/business requirements into detailed technical specifications, working both independently and with a team on a new initiative to support our Fraud detection domain, including multiple product transformations, enhancements, and sprints, which includes detailed documentation, process flows and data models.
Work with vendor partners to ensure requirements are fully defined and communicated and maintain ongoing communication with the vendor throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure they are fully knowledgeable of any changes.
Contribute to the development of project plans by providing input to project business cases, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis, timeline estimates, scope and control.
Ensure Business Recovery Plans are in place.
Comply with the TD Agile, system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management (PMLC) methodologies.
Assist with the prioritization of initial feature development and ongoing change requests.
Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems design and data interdependencies and reusability and ensuring seamless delivery.
Establish appropriate security levels for processes, information exchange and system implementation.
Define, review and influence standards and quality measures/metrics.
Assist in the support of production issues and complete ongoing communication with business and technical partners on status and resolution
Participate in the development of migration, conversion, and implementation strategies. Conduct pre and post implementation validation, ensuring all technical solutions have met business

- requirements. Supports system implementation and production readiness by liaising with change management, IT architecture and desktop standards, and the business.

Liaise with testing partners to assist in developing test strategies, test cases, perform testing, and provide user documentation, user training, and postimplementation support; coordinate defect triage and investigation.
Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors ensuring that management is kept informed and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated.
Support other team members to achieve business objectives and provide client services.

Requirements:

Qualifications/Competencies/Accreditation:
The incumbent will have the following skills:
Agile familiarity is a must
Ability to elicit and transform user stories is imperative
Great decision making, innovation and creativity
Excellent team player with ability to work in tight time schedules and demanding targets
Selfmotivated and able to work independent of constant supervision and management.
Capable of documenting functionality, including sourcetotarget data mapping
Knowledge of use case creation and use case methodology, process and data flows
Familiarity of bank standards (incl. OCISO requirements), infrastructure, architecture, testing methodologies and code management practices.
Strong oral and written communications skills to clearly articulate requirements
Strong analysis skills
Previous experience with system integrations realtime, near realtime, and batch processes
Understanding of data streaming capabilities/technologies (Kafka), RESTful APIs, data mapping would be a significant asset
Basic Microsoft SQL query knowledge would be an asset
