Job description:

Our company continues to grow and is currently seeking a Lock and Safe Shop Technician (No experience is necessary, just willing and eager to learn) to work with us in our Vancouver Branch office.

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain master key systems
Rekey locks to customer requirement
Assist in inventory control
Follow policies for restricted key
Prepare customer orders for field technicians
Service and repair various locks, door hardware, and other security devices
Identify and cut keys
Answering shop phones
Parts preparation
Key cutting on various key cutting machines, pinning and fixing locks
Other duties may be added if required

Experience requirements:

Mechanical or Electronic background
Valid G driver's license is mandatory
Experience in delivering highquality customer service to a broad range of customers

Knowledge / Education requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent

Personality requirements

Selfmotivated and calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Intermediate computer skills required
Works well independently, takes direction well
The ability to lift in excess of 25 Kilos
A criminal background check will be required
Punctual and reliable
