    If you want to contribute to making Amazon a safer place for sellers and play a crucial role in detecting and preventing fraud, the Amazon Payment Service Provider Program (PSPP) is the place to be. This program ensures that sellers using external payment services to receive their Amazon sales proceeds work with a payment service provider participating in PSPP.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver challenging projects involving stakeholders and partner teams, including external partners.
    • Work with senior leadership to establish the team's vision and a 3-year plan.
    • Ensure data security through the design of top-notch architecture without compromising on security.

    A Day in the Life:

    As a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) on the team, you will lead the software engineering team, collaborate with leadership to overcome project obstacles, refine requirements, and ensure successful project delivery. You will be in charge of the team's architecture and will lead efforts to resolve the most complex issues.


    About the Team:

    The Payment Service Provider Program at Amazon is focused on creating a safer environment for sellers, improving our ability to identify, prevent, and address potential issues with bad actors.


    Locations:

    We are looking for candidates to join us at:

    • Vancouver, BC, CAN

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
    • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software language
    • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
    • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, etc.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
