Overview:
As a People Operations Generalist at Spring, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our human resources operations and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
You will work closely with both employees and management to ensure a positive and productive work environment while implementing HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on employee satisfaction, development, and the company's growth.What You'll Be Doing:
- Complete resignation and termination paperwork
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing information and assistance on HRrelated matters
- Address employee concerns and conflicts, seeking resolutions that align with company policies and values
- Handling employee investigations, resolution of concerns, and terminations as they arise
- Create disciplinary discussion documentation and carry out the process as required
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement and development plans
- Identify training needs and collaborate with department heads to develop and implement training programs
- Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws, keeping uptodate with relevant regulations.
- Assist in creating, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Help employees navigate benefits options and address any related inquiries
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring data integrity in HRIS systems (BambooHR)
- Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives, events, and activities to foster a positive workplace culture
- Chairing the monthly health & safety committee meetings as required by WorksafeBC
- Adding, terminating, and keep track of employees in our Translink Compass Portal

What You Should Already Have:
- Entrepreneurial attitude with an ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- A diploma or degree in HR and/or a combination of relevant experience
- 35 years' experience in an HR and/or management related role
- Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of Employment Standards, and other employment laws and regulations
