    The Raise ( has partnered with our client, a leading provider of nuclear energy solutions, committed to delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions to customers worldwide. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join their dynamic team.


    As the new Senior Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager, and you will play a key role in leading and executing complex engineering assignments in the nuclear energy sector.

    Under minimal supervision, you will leverage your expertise to provide technical guidance, review the work of team members, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

    You will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks, including design, development, analysis, testing, and resolution of field problems.

    Additionally, you will actively contribute to research efforts, propose innovative solutions, and collaborate on special projects as directed.

    Perform complex engineering assignments requiring originality, ingenuity, and the development of new methods

    • Provide advanced technical support and guide and review the work of other team members
    • Ensure compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards
    • Independently evaluate, select, and apply a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria
    • Work on special projects as directed
    • Actively participate in solving technical issues to increase business opportunities for the client
    This is a permanent full-time management position based in Pickering, Ontario, requiring office presence. The client offers a competitive salary and a flexible hybrid work schedule.

    • The client is open to considering contractors for this role as well.
    • Relocation support could be discussed for a qualified candidate.
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (4-year program) required

    • Professional Engineering License (P. Eligible for Nuclear Site Access Security Clearance at Canadian & US-based utilities
    • Extensive experience in nuclear engineering, with proficiency in system engineering and design review processes
    • Ability to prepare and/or provide critical peer review of engineering calculations and reports
    • Proficiency in engineering software tools such as ANSYS, AutoPIPE, AutoCAD, Solid Works, and MicroShield
    • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant engineering standards including CSA, ASME, and National Building Code of Canada
    • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work well with engineers from other technical disciplines
    • Self-starter with demonstrated interest and ability to learn from senior staff and industry experts
    • Commitment to executing work to high safety and quality standards
