    We are the leading mining technical services provider, consisting of professionals specializing in geology, mining engineering (Surface & Underground), geotechnical engineering, mine ventilation and operations optimization. We cover the full mining lifecycle from Due Diligence and Financing ('Define'), project technical studies ('Plan') through to boots on the ground execution as project partners ('Operate').

    Mining Plus is currently seeking passionate Senior Mining Consultants - Underground to join our dynamic team in both our Vancouver and Toronto offices. At Mining Plus we are a close knit team of like-minded and passionate people. We enjoy the challenges that the mining industry throws at us and we are willing to go the extra mile to get the best result for our clients, colleagues and our business.

    Duties Include:

  • Ore Reserve estimation
  • Preparation of mining contracts
  • Software and system implementation
  • Mentoring of team members
  • Business improvement projects
  • Peer review and technical guidance for team members

    Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 6-12 years' experience working in underground mining
  • Recognized Mining Engineering Degree
  • Planning and scheduling experience
  • Drill and blast experience
  • Deswik and Datamine experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel for site based secondment roles
  • Participation in mining studies (Scoping, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility)
  • Mine Design Experience
  • Mine Economics Experience

    Salary range: CAD $100K - $145K
