The

Quality Lead, eVinci Canada will be responsible for supporting the development of the Project Quality Program and assuring the effective implementation and maintenance of the Westinghouse Quality Management System and/or equivalent established for eVinci. The role also requires the individual to provide quality assurance for vendor development and qualification, inputs for bids and proposals; support multiple project elements such as overseeing deliveries of services, products and systems.


This opportunity will be based out of our Burlington, Ontario office. This position will be eligible for a hybrid/mobile working arrangement (~- 3 days per week in the Burlington office).

Your Day to Day:


  • Program lead for the QA/QC scope, including risk identification.
  • Lead development and implementation of the Westinghouse Quality Management System, project quality plans and project procedures for eVinci development program.
  • Work closely with engineering, supply chain and manufacturing to assess, qualify and monitor vendor quality oversight
  • Maintain compliance with the Westinghouse Quality Management System for project execution.
  • Drive safe, error free performance through active use and promotion of Human Performance tools and organizational learning.
  • Communicate and implement quality assurance best practices through continuous improvement.
  • Ensure rigorous programmatic oversight of specified activities.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to quality problems, thorough corrective and preventive actions, and ensure solutions are communicated and implemented to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective change management, keeping clear and open lines of communication with other Quality organizations, leadership, regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers, as appropriate.
  • Interface with other intercompany Quality organizations to support audits, ensure compliance, process consistency and to share best practices and lessons learned
  • Occasional travel required. All other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:


  • College Diploma or University Degree. Strong preference to background in engineering or technically related field of study.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in quality assurance experience required in positions of increasing responsibility.

Nuclear Quality Assurance experience or Quality Control strongly preferred

  • Ability to provide strategic vision as well as demonstrated success in helping drive projects and the business.
  • Required Competencies:
  • Broad knowledge of nuclear quality assurance regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian nuclear power regulations, e.g. CSA N299, N285, N28
  • Working knowledge of U.S. commercial nuclear power regulations, e.g., 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA1, ASME B&PV Code, ANSI, 10CFR21, and comparable international regulations and standards is preferred.
  • Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, fabrication and testing work processes, general business acumen
  • Prior experience leading interdisciplinary teams from conceptual development through to site deployment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
