At Slegg we offer companies of all sizes these materials as a pre-cut order when sent out and provided to job site.

These floor and roof systems are pre-cut cut by our in house team of EWP chainsaw operators with precision.

Our goal is to have our customers make the most out of their building without having to cut down as much on their job sites, allowing them to focus more on the construction of their jobs in a swift and timely manner.

Here at Slegg, we work with 3 main engineered wood products that we cut on site for our customers with a provided daily cut-list:

Nordic I-joists - These are an engineered wood product that boasts impressive load resistance for its size and weight. The flange is Black Spruce sawn lumber and the web is orientated strand board (OSB). These I-joists are an environmentally conscious product providing superior quality and performance at a very cost effective price. It has many benefits and is a great alternative to conventional dimensional lumber joists.

Pacific Woodtech Laminated Veneer Lumber (PW LVL) - This is an engineered wood product that's commonly used as headers, beams, and rim boards. This LVL is made from graded SPF veneers arranged in a specific way and bonded together with adhesive under heat and pressure to maximize strength and stiffness. The result is a product that is stronger, more uniform and consistent, less likely to warp, twist, bow, and shrink than the conventional dimensional lumber beam.

Tolko Laminated Strand Lumber (T-TEC LSL) - This also is an engineered wood product that is commonly used as rim boards for multi residential projects. This LSL is made of Canadian Aspen strands bonded together with a unique resin to optimize its structural properties. It provides an integral structural component that transfers loads laterally and vertically, and is resistant to warping and splitting.
