    Description

    Purpose:

    The Schulich School offers two highly competitive undergraduate programs, as well as 14 dynamic masters programs and graduate diplomas and a PhD program.

    In total, the student body at Schulich exceeds 3, students.

    The purpose of the Assistant Director, Business Systems and Analytics role is to ensure that all aspects of course scheduling, enrolment and records management are seamlessly executed, in conjunction with the University Registrar's Office and Information Technology Services at the university and faculty level.

    In addition, the incumbent is responsible for the generation of data to support enrolment planning, rankings and survey analysis and accreditation.

    With a keen understanding of systems and process re-engineering, the Assistant Director Systems and Operations, identifies and executes process improvements and works with key stakeholders within the university to improve the functionality of systems supporting the work of Student Services & International Relations and the Associate Dean Academic's Office.

    Education:

    Graduate degree, preferred, in related discipline (, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics and Business Administration).

    Dedication to service excellence and quality. Ability to quickly learn business processes. Project management experience. Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise written reports and deliver effective presentations.

    Ability to communicate complex information in an understandable way. Well-developed research skills and familiarity with data extraction and methods and tools used for analysis. Strong statistical analysis. Ability to collect and manage large data sets. Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills including relationship building, negotiation, conflict resolution. Ability to work in a multi-functional environment and demonstrate sound judgment. Experience in working with a cross functional team. Ability to research and analyze data through Excel pivot tables and charts. Experience in database design and SQL programming. Ability to succeed in a dynamic, changing environment and quickly find alternative solutions to challenges.

    Attention to detail and in-depth planning, organizational and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.

    Ability to facilitate groups of people towards a goal, or decision. ability to positively influence, negotiate and to obtain commitment of others.

    Ability to function under pressure on several projects simultaneously and to meet project time frames high proficiency with Microsoft Office.

    Training and/or experience with Salesforce administration
