Description

A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving drinks to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

The Bartender will maintain a clean and organized bar area and provide a welcoming and friendly environment to guests.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers and take drink orders, serving both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beer, wine and other drinks to guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing and sanitizing glasses, restocking liquor and ice, and cleaning spills.
  • Accurately handle cash transactions and operate pointofsale (POS) systems.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
  • Follow all local liquor laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and concerns.
  • Continuously update knowledge of drink menu and promotional offers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with further training or certifications in mixology preferred.
  • Previous experience as a bartender, with knowledge of mixology and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, with strong multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and operate POS systems.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, with the ability to serve alcohol legally.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
