The Riva team is growing, and we're looking for a Technology Trainer to provide in-house training for existing and new Riva employees.


The Technology Trainer will design, curate, and create training materials and how-to job aids for employees and new hires to improve their ability to configure, implement, and use our technical products and services.

If you have experience developing self-directed and instructor-led training courses and materials, along with a background in Salesforce, Azure, or another Cloud service and software engineering, this role may be the right fit for you Bonus points if you can work well in an Agile environment.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
**More specifically, the Technology Trainer will:
Build out a Training Curriculum:
You will build a technical training curriculum and an approach for onboarding new hires.

This training will assist our new employees and existing team members to be successful in using our platforms and products to onboard quickly and also to maintain a high customer retention level.


Training Content Creation:

You will leverage training content already in place from existing documentation as well as you will work closely with Riva Subject Matter Experts to create new content for training.

By working effectively across the organization, you will identify Subject Matter Experts in certain topics and leverage their expertise to document a detailed script for new training modules.

You will develop course materials from the existing library and from scratch.


Training Delivery:

You will drive the design, development, narration, recording, editing, and implementation of our Training content through multiple learning channels such as white papers, PowerPoint, and video.

You thrive on producing engaging training content through a variety of formats and working collaboratively to develop delivery plans.


Learning Outcomes:
To design and develop learning outcomes, you will lead assessment activities, including assessment questions, scenarios, and simulations.

As well you will create evaluation feedback loops throughout the learning journey to continue to enhance and strengthen our training content and delivery to empower success.


Training Content & Quality Management:

You will own and maintain our content in a library of reusable assets such as pictures, videos, and templates.

In addition, you will also own the quality of content through proofreading and editing our content for proper use of grammar, punctuation, style, and brand guidelines.

You will lead the review and testing of content for accuracy and usability as part of our continuous improvement quality program.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Knowledge in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training initiatives.
  • Experience in varied training delivery methodologies, emerging methods, and training technology and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to develop training, support documentation, material, and tools.
  • Communication skills for the delivery of focused and specific training.
  • Ability to identify training requirements and develop targeted support.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work within timelines.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Bonus points for:


  • Advanced Salesforce knowledge.
  • Experience as part of a technology consulting company.
  • Knowledge of programming or scripting.
  • Secondary language skills.
