    Position Title: Destination Specialist - Retail & Wholesale

    Location:

    Hybrid: Toronto, Vancouver - for those at travelling distance to office

    The opportunity: As our unprecedented growth continues, we are seeking applications for Destination Specialists in both our retail & wholesale space, serving either the end traveler or the travel agent. At all times our will receive pre-qualified leads so you never have to cold call. You will support your client in creating their dream voyage, from trip design right through to travel You will liaise with hotels, tour operators and airlines. Your love of travel, superior organizational skills, and your desire to provide an exceptional customer experience is what ensures your success in this role At Goway we create lifelong customers – perhaps it's time for you to join the family?

    Day to day:

    • Achieve sales targets by drawing on your proven performance to convert enquiries into bookings, utilizing effective qualifying, follow up, and quote management processes
    • Ensure all reservations are processed with careful attention to detail, maintaining administrative tasks including documents, managing schedule changes, and processing airline tickets
    • Uphold Goway Travel's exceptional standard of service throughout all interactions such as email, telephone, and online chat
    • Develop long-lasting connections with your customers, creating referrals and repeat business
    • Be a true ambassador for Goway Travel and represent values at all times
    • Utilize preferred vendors to provide best costs to customers and to maximize profits

    • You love to travel and have travelled internationally beyond North America and the Caribbean

    • Solid destination knowledge of one or more of the Goway destinations - Africa, Asia, South Pacific, Central & South America, US & Canada, UK and Europe
    • Advanced GDS knowledge, preferably Amadeus
    • You are highly entrepreneurial
