- Delivery of innovative data and technology solutions, to drive safety and efficiency in our Stations and across site, for approximately 10,000 users.
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategy around Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Advanced Analytics, Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is aligned with the organization's roadmap and business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of Business Information, and Analytics projects, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with committed scope, schedule and cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for leveraging AI, analytics, automation and data management to drive business improvements.
- Provide department oversight to ensure the seamless integration, accessibility, and governance of structured and unstructured data across the enterprise.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI, analytics, and data management, and assess their applicability to the organization's operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
- Oversee the enterprise data management practices, ensuring data quality, data governance, and data security standards are met.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the IT division.
- Provide leadership to the organization with regards to the development of a digital mindset while acting as a leader and a teammate driving our digital transformation.
- Partner with the Information Security team to ensure secure technology services, compliance standards and processes are adhered to.

In support of achieving excellence and business results through safe, reliable operations, our Information Technology Division is currently hiring for an Information Technology (IT) Director – Director of Data, Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) , reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
The Director of Data, Advanced Analytics and AI is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the adoption of data-driven decision-making, implementing advanced analytics and AI solutions, and overseeing the management of enterprise data to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and safety at Bruce Power. They lead the teams implementing enterprise data management and governance, advanced analytics, automation, and AI solutions for Bruce Power. They require a digital mindset as they are at the forefront of driving the organizations digital transformation, while also being a strategic leader, managing the strategy, budget, external partnerships, and internal resources for the department. The Director must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the industry. They must also be able to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that the IT department is aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives today and into the future.
