    | About the role

    Reporting to the Manager, Information Security and Technology Risk, the Senior Security Risk Analyst, Information Security and Technology Risk is responsible for leading the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Operational Resiliency Risk Program at Payments Canada. This includes relevant policies, frameworks and risk tools to ensure information security and technology risks are effectively identified, assessed, managed, monitored and reported in pursuit of our strategic objectives.

    | What you'll do

    Responsibilities of the Senior Security Risk Analyst include:

  • Conducting security and risk analysis including IT vulnerability and risk assessments, risk control evaluation, security requirements identification, and verification;
  • Provide oversight and effective challenge to ensure that Information Security and Technology risks across the organization, critical vendors, and ecosystem are being effectively managed in alignment with established practices and Risk Appetite;
  • Supporting team of analysts to support day-to-day operations.

    • | Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience;
  • Experience in the field of Information Security, including cryptographic controls, authentication, security policies and practices, security reviews and vulnerability assessments, and threat and risk assessments;
  • Strong relationship management, presentation and thought leadership skills;
  • Ability to work outside of regular working hours based on operational requirements;
  • Ability to work in person at the Payments Canada Ottawa office as needed;
  • Government of Canada Level II Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain.

    • | Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset;
  • Industry certification (CISSP, CISA, PSP, CPP) is considered an asset.

    • | Salary Range

  • Based on qualifications and experience: $93,637 and $117,046.
