Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk receives, verifies and stocks merchandise, prepares orders, packs goods and ships orders in a timely manner.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Highly meticulous in keeping the warehouse tidy, ensuring merchandise is placed in the right location;
Maintains productivity and safety in the warehouse as well as in the yard;
Ensures orders are filled accurately and on time;
Offload trucks, check for missing and damaged merchandise;
Receive and verify shipments and place merchandise in stock;
Locate related Customer backorders and advise Customer of their arrival;
Place and arrange stock in orderly fashion and rearrange as required;
Maintain the merchandise displays in an attractive manner;
Pick and pack goods, and ship orders in an accurate and timely manner;
Pack for goods damage free shipment;
Keep the warehouse tidy ensuring productivity and safety in the warehouse;
Provide sales support at the Counter as needed greeting customers, preparing orders, merchandising and other assigned tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in customer service an asset;
Excellent verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills;
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet delivery deadlines;
Team player, adaptable, energetic with a positive professional attitude;
Demonstrated initiative to selfimprovement of your business and product skills;
Good computer navigation skills
Proactive in finding ways to improve productivity in the Warehouse;
Must be able to handle items 50lbs and under;
Valid forklift certificate is an asset; otherwise training will be provided.
