- Coordinating with factories and consultants to get the RAMS documentation inputs.
- Conduct thorough RAM reviews of proposed solutions to ensure they meet reliability, availability and maintainability targets present in customer RAMS Plan.
- Conduct thorough safety analysis based on customer RAMS and Safety plans.
- Be the customer interface for all RAMS activities.
- Lead requirement management activities related to RAMS and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with the internal technical team on all RAMS activities.
- Ensure RAMS principles are integrated into engineering processes.
- Supporting project managers with claims related to changes in the project scope, including assessing cost and time impacts, as well as risk quantifications.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
- Strong ownership sense.
- Structured and organized.
- 5-10 years in RAMS engineering.
- Experience in any relevant RAMS topics: RAM analysis, FMEA, FTA, OSHA, SHA, SSHA, FHA, IHA.
- Ability to read, understand and communicate in English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
- Knowledge of ITEM toolkit or any other reliability analysis software.
- Knowledge in DOORS, Visure or similar requirement management software an asset.
- OIQ or PEO or EGBC valid membership, mandatory. Other provinces an asset.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.

As a member of the Electrification Distribution Solutions engineering team, you will work on projects to provide to customers (Traction Power Substations) with high quality equipment, in order to power up their electrical systems via MV/LV Switchgear, Transformer-rectifier units, DC Switchgear and LV Distribution systems.
You will be the technical point of contact, for all RAMS activities and documentation, related to engineering projects mainly in North America, under the Electrification division, Distribution Solutions unit. Reporting to the Engineering manager, you will drive excellence - ensuring that design activities are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with customer expectations, contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. You will coordinate with multiple suppliers across the globe.
