The Northern Alberta YMCA is looking for a customer service expert to act as the first impression of our Centres ensuring everyone is welcomed and the ensuring the Centre is a clean and maintained environment.
Each associate has a direct impact on a member's experience. This position requires a flexible schedule working evenings, weekends, and holidays.Our Culture

Position Responsibilities
- Promote and facilitate a positive YMCA experience for anyone who visits our centres, Role model YMCA values in each interaction by delivering service responsibly, honestly and with care.
- Respond to all requests and concerns in a timely manner.
- Respect the confidential information of members/participants/guests.
- Adhere to the YMCA Experience Manual policies and demonstrate practices consistently, ensure that all YMCA SAM Standards are met or exceeded.
- Ensure work area (lobby, desk and entry) is clean and maintained.
- Follow YMCA Cash Handling Policy and processes.
- Ensure the safety and security of everyone who visit our Centres, follow the Centre's emergency response procedures.
- Follow the YMCA of NAB Health and Safety policies.
- Completes and follows up on incident reports when needed, ensure facility requests are used to record or report cleaning and maintenance needs.
- Monitors and reinforces member/guest behavior in accordance with the Member and Participant Code of Conduct.
What You'll Need for This Job
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience is an asset
- Certifications: Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Flexible availability
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector check
