Draftsperson

We are looking for a new Draftsperson to support Consulting Design Engineers that service site plan development & civil engineering, design-build consulting, and structural engineering.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Draftsperson with knowledge and experience in civil/structural engineering projects with an emphasis on ICI projects.
You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, playing a critical role in delivering successful projects that meet client's needs and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed architectural and engineering drawings for building redesign and renovation projects using AutoCAD & Civil 3D software
- Develop accurate 2D and 3D models, layouts, and building plans
- Conduct site visits to create drawings based on measurements and other pertinent information shared by the leadership team
- Analyze building specifications and keep uptodate with relevant codes to ensure compliance with safety and structural standards
- Collaborate and support the project team, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to review and analyze the design plans
- Meeting expected deadlines on all projects with support from the team
- Research and implement innovative technologies to improve design processes and maximize efficiency in projects
- Attend project meetings, occasional site visits, and other related activities as required
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Technology or a related field
- CET certification (required)
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in similar drafting
- Civil/Site Plan drafting capacity within the civil engineering industry, ideally including residential highrise buildings
- Must have building codes and regulation knowledge
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTURN softwares
- Good understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations
- Sound knowledge of the ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) sector
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problemsolving, attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong Math skills required
- Valid G license
Salary/ Benefits:
- $52-65K Salary Range
