Student Project Coordinator - Halifax, Canada - Inflector Environmental Services
Description
We are growing and looking for a motivated and organized Student Project Coordinator to support our Project Management team in various project functions.
The Student Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in tracking and submitting project documentation, supporting Project Management with costing and billing projects, complete site visits and observations to track progress, prepare and submit reports.
Based in our Halifax office, this in person position is essential in ensuring that we are servicing our employees in the best way possible.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Mangers in preparing billing on a regular basis and in compliance
- Attend job walk throughs for project start up requirements
- Participate in site visits to track progress and complete observations
- Liaise with the site supervisor and clients
- Review project drawings and specifications
- Prepare and submit project documentation
- Assist in making changes to project scope, project schedule and costs
- Assist in risk analysis during project planning
- Process and issue change orders as directed by the Project Manager
- Support tracking project performance
- Assist with establishing project budgets, and implementing cost controls
- Prepare schedules with Inflectors project management software
- Assist with other relevant projects or assigned responsibilities as needed
Profile Requirements:
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Currently enrolled in post secondary school diploma in Project Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Enthusiastic team player with a cando attitude.
Physical Requirements:
In an office/field position expecting long periods of sitting and some standing.

Must be eligible to work in Canada
Job Types:
Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
