As a Research Associate working with the Hematology team in the Research and Development (R&D) Department, you'll be responsible for independently testing and optimizing internal products, interpreting data, and providing regular reports on your results.

By pairing a creative approach with your deep technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in flow cytometry and mammalian cell culture, you'll drive the optimization of quality products related to hematopoietic stem cells.


This position is perfect for recent MSc science graduates who want to continue honing their laboratory and research skills while contributing to the creation of high-quality workflows for researchers around the globe.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Understand and experience with flow cytometry, mammalian tissue culture and general molecular biology techniques
  • Present data in team meetings and contribute to data interpretations and future experiments
  • Validate new products, product components, and technologies
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of lab procedures and results
  • Mentor and help train junior members of the team

Knowledge and Qualifications:


  • MSc in a biomedical related field with 26 years relevant lab experience is required
  • Knowledge and experience in mammalian cell culturing and flow cytometry, as well as range of molecular biology techniques is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience presenting your own data to small and large groups and writing reports
  • Familiarity with pluripotent stem cell work, primary or suspension cell culturing, or cell sorting preferred
