    Our client is looking for an experienced, forward facing Strata Manager with a can-do attitude who is ready to hit the ground running with an exciting, closely grouped portfolio in South Vancouver. The role provides flexibility with the option of remote working too

    Our client is a big player in the world of Strata and they pride themselves on being one of the most well-respected Strata property companies to work for in Vancouver The company's portfolio is confined to the Lower Mainland which means they fully understand the strata communities in this area unlike any other.

    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    You will be managing around 8 strata buildings, with the number of doors being dependent on your past experience. The great thing about the position is that the portfolio can be flexible and can cater to your strengths and preferences. You will be attending around 2 night meetings per week dependent on the portfolio, and will have admin support. Even though the company are not a family run business, they very much operate like one in the sense that they treat all of their employees as individuals and cater to your experience

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    Your main job duties will include:

    • Prepare for and assist with facilitating, if required, strata council meetings and general meetings
    • Prepare council meeting agendas
    • Handle and process all operational correspondence and owner communications
    • Carry out directives and follow lawful instruction of Council in a timely manner
    • Prepare minutes of all meetings attended including night meetings
    • Assist Strata Councils in preparing annual budgets and planning for capital
    • Inform Strata Councils regarding legislative requirements and assist with interpretation of financial information through monthly financial statement review.
    • Ensure invoices are received, reviewed and approved

    THE REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years experience as a Strata Manager
    • Has a Strata license
    • Experience with high rise strata buildings is a plus
    • Valid driving license

    COMPENSATION

    • $80,000 - $100,000 per annum based on experience
    • Work from home options - 2 days per week
    • Extended medical and dental
