- Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in technology-related fields are a plus.
- Strong knowledge or hands-on experience with:
- Programing in one or more languages and frameworks (Python, C#.NET, JavaScript, etc.)
- Enterprise IT infrastructure (server, storage, network, and systems management disciplines)
- Security protocols (TLS, SAML, OIDC, Oauth2, WS-Security, etc.)
- Databases technologies
- Container technologies
- Cloud services (Microsoft Azure, etc.)
- Post-secondary degree from a recognized university in Computing Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience creating business cases for complex solutions and deployments into production.
- Technical leadership, project management or people leadership experience.
- Enterprise integration – architectures, practices, and patterns (e.g., API Management, Event Driven, Messaging, B2B Integration, etc.)

Primary Focus:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and stakeholders to understand our strategic goals and translate them into robust architectural designs will provide technical leadership in system architecture, design principles, software development methodologies, and selection of information systems. You will utilize technology architecture principles and frameworks to ensure quality, uniformity, and sustainability throughout the WCB.

Salary : Salary will be evaluated based on candidate's skills and experience.
IT Architect II: $87,363 - $112,423 (includes Market Supplement; Pay Grade 12)
IT Architect III: $92,678 - $132,480 (includes Market Supplement; Pay Grade 13)
