    Description

    Company Description RNDSQR Middle (mddl), advocates for and champions at-scale delivery of middle housing to address the housing crisis in communities across Canada.

    This is a full-time role as a Project Coordinator at mddl.

    You will be a key member of the core team, overseeing a wide range of functions across a growing project portfolio.

    The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of middle housing projects.

    This role is diverse in nature and touches on several stages of the project pre-development process including but not limited to site acquisition, design development, approvals and construction transition.

    This includes coordinating with consultants and approval authorities to implement projects and supporting the larger team with other housing-related initiatives.

    Have strong technical skills and advanced capabilities with Office 365 Suite
    Have experience with in project management tools and software an asset
    Have at least 3 years of experience in land development, project coordination and/or management
    Support the development management of a number of middle housing projects on behalf of our clients
    Collaborate with the team to develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential project sites for housing development.
    Coordinate the preparation and submission of permit applications, ensuring compliance with local zoning regulations and building codes.
    Liaise with regulatory agencies and authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits for development projects.
    Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
    Manage project expenditures and invoicing.
    Assist in the procurement and negotiation of contracts with vendors, contractors, and consultants involved in the development process.
    Monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

    Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including developers, contractors, government agencies, and community members.

    Facilitate regular communication and updates on project progress, milestones, and any issues or concerns.
    Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, approvals, and correspondence.
    Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, planners, and other experts, to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

    Facilitate teamwork and communication among project team members to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
    Support and lead research and general administrative duties, as required.
