    Status/Hours of Work:
    Sessional Part-time- Days, evenings, weekends

    Responsible for monitoring and supervising facility swim times, facility swim tests, emergency rescues and first aid as required, completion of accident/incident reports, and promoting a friendly environment through public education and rule enforcement.

    Lifeguard (Part Time Sessional Position)

    Responsible for monitoring and supervising facility swim times, facility swim tests, emergency rescues and first aid as required, completion of accident/ incident reports, and have a friendly environment through public education and rule enforcement.

    Be aware of and comply with all admission policies, regulations and legislations pertaining to the operations of an aquatic facility.

    Supervises pool and deck areas at all times to standard set by the Ministry of Health, Lifesaving Society and the Town of Georgina.

    Attends and participates in all staff training sessions.
    Prepared to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends.
    Reports any facility safety hazards to supervisor on duty or full-time staff.
    Assists with general pool and area upkeep and cleaning as required.
    Promotes positive public relations at all times, enforcing pool rules firmly and tactfully.

    Performs other related duties as assigned that are in accordance with job responsibilities or necessary departmental or corporate objectives.
